I wanted to finish this series of lessons with the most important one which is understanding what this whole game is about. Yes, we all understand that we need to make money to eat, put a roof over our heads, to survive.
But in the Western World we get that anyway.
If you had no money or access to income, the Government would still give you something to eat, give you somewhere to live and you would still survive. So learning to invest and learning the important skill of how to take care of your money, including the skill of GROWING your wealth, is about something more important than even survival.
What can be more important than survival?
I’ll tell you – FREEDOM.
I believe that if you cannot live as an independent, sovereign, free-thinking person, with the right to say what you want and go where you want, then you are nothing more than a slave.
In which case, life is not worth living. I would rather than not even survive if I can’t be free.
If you are unable to have freedom of speech and freedom of movement, then are you really free? You can’t say what you feel, you can’t express an opinion, you can’t hold a view, you can’t travel.
You have to wear a face mask, you have to take the vaccine, you have to be locked up in your house, you cannot protest, you cannot voice a different opinion.
And here’s the thing, if you can’t say, then you also can’t think.
Many studies have shown that when you control speech, you control minds because they are so closely linked. By restricting speech, you are restricting thoughts and beliefs.
To be clear, I don’t think that anybody reading this is enslaved in the traditional sense, but yet none of us have full autonomy either. We have a democracy to choose, once every 4 years, from two political parties – that’s hardly a choice.
So we are slaves to some degree. We commute on trains to go to work for jobs that we, for bosses that we despise, to pay taxes for wars that we don’t agree with, for a few pounds which lose 10% in value each year.
We give money to the banks and hope they won’t fold, we borrow money for houses and hope that interest rates won’t go up, we put on our central heating and hope that fuel costs won’t keep going up.
Nobody is truly out of Government control and systems. And the control is becoming tighter and tighter.
That’s why your ability to generate wealth, and remove it from the grid (aka the Matrix), and be self-sufficient is the only way to be truly free. It means that if you want to, you could get up, pack your bags and go anywhere in the world.
You might not want to right now, but it’s nice to know that you could, if you wanted to.
In the Western World, it’s hard to understand this concept of freedom and slavery as the UK and USA are seen as free societies.
But I know the dark history of Panjab and India, where not so long ago, in 1984 innocent women and children were murdered in a genocide. Up until those atrocities happened, they also thought that they were free. But they weren’t.
And that’s why this last video is at the Golden Temple, Sri Harmandar Sahib, the most religious of places for the Sikhs, and also the very place where this genocide took place.
You may not face the same struggles here in the UK (at least not yet), so freedom may mean something different to you, but the pursuit of freedom should still be your ultimate goal.
And financial freedom is the most important freedom of all.
Because it’s the only one that can quite literally ‘buy’ you all of the other freedoms.
