Diego Maradona was a legend both on and off the football pitch. Yes, he was a troubled man and his life was sadly cut short through poor health, but he gave the world a glimpse of magical moments that may never be repeated again. And nowhere better can this be seen than in the wonder goal that he scored in the 1986 World Cup quarter-finals against England. Whatever you think of Diego and the ‘hand of God’ goal that he scored moments earlier, there is no denying that he was brilliant.
And that’s what you can be too – brilliant.
With hard work and learning and perfecting the craft of investing, you can be the same. Trading and investing is a lot easier than playing football. But it requires the same basic skills that all disciplines require.
You need to learn from a great mentor (tick – you have me), you need great content to consume (tick – you’re watching my videos), and you need to practice (tick – I assume you are investing). Now, you just have to put into practice, multiply and scale.
Learn the lessons, have the passion, and have confidence in yourself to pull it off. It was not supposed to be possible that one human being could take a football from his own half, dribble past half a dozen of the best and most committed professional footballers in the world, and then score the simplest of goals against one of the most formidable goalkeepers. That wasn’t supposed to happen. But it did.
And it happened because of what he did on that day but because of everything that he did BEFORE that day. The hard work, the dedication, and dare I say it, the natural ability and skill that he already possessed. But you have all of those attributes too, you just have to use them.
