In this series, I went back home to the green fields of Punjab, India, to explore something every investor eventually discovers: investing and life have far more in common than we realise.
At its simplest, investing is about making decisions using the information available to us. Life works in much the same way. Where we are today is largely the result of the choices we have made along the way.
Your investment portfolio is no different. Its performance is the collective result of decisions about when to buy, when to sell, when to wait, when to take a risk and when to walk away.
These videos look at investing from a different perspective. Rather than concentrating only on charts, markets and numbers, we explore the mindset, behaviour and judgement behind the decisions investors make.
You do not need to become a professional trader to become a better investor. Understanding how you make decisions, recognising your own weaknesses and learning to respond more effectively to uncertainty can make a significant difference over time.
I hope you enjoy watching these videos as much as I enjoyed making them.
